You Can Now Take A Bath That May Also Get You High

For the most part, people take baths because they want to relax. There’s hardly anything that compares to coming home after a long day of work to a tub filled with bubbles. But believe it or not, your baths are about to get even more relaxing. It’s all thanks to a new “weed” bath bomb that releases cannabidiol, and ingredient found in marijuana.

Bath bombs. Thanks to a Japanese beauty company called Mirai Clinical, your baths are about to get much more relaxing. The company has released a line of bath bombs made with CBD, otherwise known as cannabidiol.

Ingredient. According to Refinery 29, CBD is not psychoactive and instead, has healing properties like helping ease pain and swelling. Because of this special ingredient, people leave their baths feeling that much more relaxed.

Legal. No, you don’t need a marijuana card to buy this product. The bath bomb is perfectly legal as it’s not against the law to sell products with less than .3 percent of THC in them.

Feeling. So while the bath bomb won’t technically get you high, it will give you a similar feeling. According to Samantha Sasso, who reviewed the product for Refinery 29, the entire experience was better than an expected.

Tingling. “My entire body was tingling, I couldn’t stop giggling, even my toes curled. The sensation felt like a sudden wave of sedation after the first peak,” writes Sasso.

Sold out. If you’re looking to get your hands on this product, you’ll just have to wait since unfortunately, they are backordered until November. Luckily, this isn’t the only marijuana-infused beauty product you can get for yourself.

Others. Another product infused with CBD is a body lotion from Lord Jones called 5:1 High CBD. The lotion is good for aching feet and is said to be used by many celebrities.

Miracle. “Don’t worry, your feet won’t get high but this miracle cream is going to make a long Golden Globes evening much more fun. So until designers learn how to make a stiletto as comfy as sneakers, Lord Jones is in my styling kit,” says celebrity stylist Karla Welch via her Instagram.

Swelling. Another celebrity make up artist says she too uses CBD infused products on her clients because it helps reduce the swelling, especially in the face. These products are perfect for treating all of these things.

Skin. “I am a huge fan of cannabis-based products. So much of what people are experiencing on their skin are issues that at the root are related to stress, lack of sleep, inflammation and pain,” said make up artist Jesse Blades, as reported by Billboard.

Properties. “Our intention is to share the powerful medicinal properties of this plant while utilizing modern extraction techniques to standardize purity and potency, thereby ensuring a safe and accessible experience for all women,” reads the website.

You. What do you think of all of these marijuana-infused beauty products? Would you ever try any of these out? Let us know what you think!
