Pineal gland: how to detox the part of your brain that controls sleep, aging and your state of mind

The pineal gland is of utmost importance for the overall health, yet most people are not aware of its importance. About the Pineal Gland

The pineal gland is the size of a pea and is located in the center of the brain.  It is shaped like a small pinecone and its function is to secrete melatonin, a chemical responsible for regulation of sleeping patterns.  In addition to this, melatonin acts as antioxidant which helps delay the aging process.  The pineal gland also secretes serotonin, a neurotransmitter which helps maintain balanced state of mind.

Although not backed up by science, people have reported increased feelings of empathy when given melatonin supplement. It is also said that the pineal gland produces a chemical called DMT which is associated with creativity, dreams, and hallucination.  This is the reason why it is of utmost importance for the spiritual health and is often referred to as the “Third Eye”.

Decalcify the Pineal Gland: How It Becomes Calcified

As time passes by and we accumulate more toxic matter in our bodies, the pineal glands beings to calcify. Sodium fluoride, which is commonly found in drinking water in the developed world as well as in most toothpaste, is the major culprit. Other factors that lead to calcifications of the pineal gland are as follows:

The first one is found in green leafy veggies, while the latter is produced by microflora in the intestines and is found in foods like goose or chicken livers, egg yolks, fish oils, shellfish, sauerkraut, fish roe, and dairy from organically fed cows. When combined with vitamin A and vitamin D3, it is a potent detoxifying agent which promotes elimination of calcium from arteries and the pineal gland.

Garlic is a well-known natural antibiotic, which also boosts immunity, dissolves calcium, and acts as an amazing pineal gland detoxifier. It is recommended to eat half a bulb every two days. In case you cannot stand its strong smell, soak it in lemon juice or apple cider vinegar and use as salad dressing.
